I was at school when the attacks occurred on
September 11, 2001. I was in English class to be exact
and I was really scared and mad, so a year later I
decided to write this poem.

"The Day the Eagles Cried"

Two tall buildings high in the sky
Two planes come soaring
Nobody knows why
People running, people scared
The buildings are tumbling to the ground
Boom! You wonder, "What's that sound?"
That was the sound of a body
Falling from the tower crashing to the ground
All because the planes went flying
This was the day the eagles were crying
