I was in Mrs. Leone's
Geography class (at Romney Middle School) working on a map
of Europe when I found out about the attacks of the
towers. I was scared and confused and didn't know why
it happened. A year later I decided to write this:
"That Day"
On that day
Nobody knows why
But two of our towers fell from the sky
Poor, innocent people so fast asleep
Those hateful terrorists are in too deep
Every American knows one thing for sure
The terrible terrorists were defeated in war
I stand as my country's biggest fan
I say to myself, "I am proud to be an American."
