Summer Art Camp 2003
Friday
Robin Pancake tells campers about a group of painters called
the Fauves (meaning wild beasts) who were also known as the Expressionists.

Campers begin their own paintings in the Expressionist style.

Some finished work is laid out to dry.

Portrait Photography
Jan Dodgins uses a Power Point presentation
to illustrate useful techniques for taking good pictures of people.

Campers use props and backdrops to take digital pictures of one
another.

The camera flash cards are read into computers so students can
view and select their best shots.

It takes a while for the printer to process the chosen photograph.

Each camper gets their favorite picture to take home.
