All artists 18 and older are invited to participate.
3-dimensional work and framed 2-dimensional work in any media including photography.
All work must be original and not previously displayed in the HCAC Fall Fine Arts
Show. Framed work must be dry and wired for hanging. (No saw-toothed hangers,
please!) All work will be juried before hanging and judging.

APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Hand-delivered work only.
Complete an identification tag for each work to be submitted and attach
to back of work.
Complete the artist file card. (Photocopies of entry form
and tags are permissble.)
Present the file card, payment and artwork to
registration desk in the Bank of Romney Community Building
at designated times:
Wednesday, Sept. 5 between 5 and 8 PM or
Thursday, Sept. 6 between 9 AM and 1 PM.
No work will be accepted after these
times so the jurying and hanging committee can complete their tasks.
Participating artists are encouraged to bring a copy of their bio or artist
statement for display in a binder
during the weekend. Many visitors are interested in learning more about the artists.

Wednesday, September 5 from 5 PM to 8 PM or
Thursday, September 6 from 9 AM to 1 PM.
(Jurying and judging will begin at 1 PM. No work will be accepted after 1
PM on Thursday.)

Artists ar responsible for collecting their pieces by 7PM Sunday. Any pieces
not collected by the artist (or a
designated representative) will be held for
up to 30 days by a member of the Hampshire County Arts Council
Executive Committee
or Visual Arts Chair, with whom arrangements will need to be made to pick
up the work.
After 30 days, any artwork not picked up will be considered a
donation to HCAC and will become property of
the Arts Council.

Other awards may be added prior to the show. Check back for updates.
Again this year artists are encouraged to bring a portfolio of their prints
and photographs for display. A limit of 10
portfolios can be accomodated. To
reserve a spot, please e-mail your intention to bring a portfolio to:
visualarts@hampshirearts.org Spaces
will be assigned in the order e-mails are received. A reply as to whether
a
space will be reserved for you will be sent to all e-mail requests.
An
area is set aside for these portfolios so visitors can view and purchase
other work than that entered in the show.
All prints and photographs should
be matted and covered with protective see-through sleeve. Each print/photograph
should have a label on the back with the artist's nae, title of the work, and
price. Also each artist should bring two
copies of a list of all their prints/photographs
in the portfolio with prices for each. One copy will remain with the
portfolio
and the other will be on file at the exhibition desk. Artists are also responsible
for providing a display rack
for their portfolio.
A 15% commission will be retained on all work sold.

light at Rt. 50/Rt. 28) Look for signs as you enter town.
From Washington/Winchester: Take Rt. 50 West to Romney (114 Miles from
DC, 40 miles from Winchester).
From Cumberland, MD: Take Rt. 28 South to Romney (30 miles).
From Elkins/Petersburg/Moorefield: Take Rt. 220 North to Rt. 50, turn
east to Romney.

Main Street(watch costumed crafters create one-of-a-kind
treasures), children's nature and fun activities, and more.
Enjoy delicious foods, listen to your choice of bluegrass, country, gospel,
rock, and blues music as well as stories and
songs of the Civil War. Search
