Colleen Anderson

Colleen Anderson is a writer, designer, and songwriter whose work has been published by Redbook and Arts & Letters, the PEN Syndicated Fiction Project, Embers, Kestrel, Carolina Quarterly, The Sun, and many other periodicals. Anderson's writing has earned two artist fellowships from the West Virginia Commission on the Arts.
Her songs have been featured on Mountain Stage and The Folk Sampler, and she has released two collections, Fabulous Realities and Going Over Home. Her song "West Virginia Chose Me" is featured on the West Virginia Lottery Commission's "Songs of Home" collection.
With Julie Adams, she leads an annual songwriting workshop, Sources of Song, at Ghost Ranch in New Mexico. With Adams and Karen Vuranch, Colleen forms the Potluck Ladies, who present a program of song, stories and poetry focused on food with humor.
