Resonance performs for the Hampshire County Arts Council in Sunday, June 22, 2008 at 5PM at The Potomac Center in a Free Summer Concert on the Lawn with sponsorship by The Bank of Romney and a grant from The WV Commission on the Arts.

A world fusion ensemble of five musicians - three percussionists, guitar and bass.
Resonance uses the distinctive sound of the steel drums to draw audiences into their compelling mix of Caribbean jazz and global fusion music. Trained in the steel band of pan master Ellie Mannette, members of the ensemble have performed and studied on five continents and with such prestigious ensembles as the Pittsburgh Symphony, Umoja African Arts Ensemble, and the River City Brass Band. Their dynamic performances offer listeners the sounds of traditional Caribbean and original fusion music and moments of potent world drumming.

They have performed at the University of Pittsburgh, West Virginia University, Slippery Rock University, University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, the Clarion University Autumn Leaf Festival, the Community College of Allegheny County, and the Andy Warhol Museum.

Resonance educates thousands of students a year with "Caribbean Traditions," an assembly program that traces steel drum music from its African roots to the present. We also offer a variety of master classes, clinics and residency’s in steel drums, percussion, hand drumming and jazz.

Resonance is a PennPAT roster artist.
