ELIGIBILITY
All artists 18 and older are invited to participate.
3-dimensional work and framed 2-dimensional work in any media including
photography. All work must be original and not previously displayed
in the HCAC Fall Fine Arts Show. Framed work must be dry and wired
for hanging. (No saw-toothed hangers, please!) All work will be
juried before hanging and judging.

FEES
Non-member up to 3 pieces for $25.00.
HCAC member up to 3 pieces for $20.00.
Make checks out to Hampshire County Arts Council.
15% commission payable to Hampshire County Arts Council from all
art works sold.
APPLICATION PROCEDURES
Hand-delivered work only.
Complete an identification tag for each work to be submitted
and attached to back of work. Complete the artist file card. (Photocopies
of entry form and tags are permissble.) Present the file card,
payment and artwork to registration desk in the Bank of Romney
Community Building at designated times.
Participating artists my bring a copy of their bio or artist
statement to be displayed in a binder during the weekend.
CALENDAR
Work received at the Bank of Romney Community Center
Wednesday, September 6 from 5 PM to 8 PM or
Thursday, September 7 from 9 AM to 1 PM.
(Jurying and judging will begin at 1 PM. No work will be accepted
after 1 PM on Thursday.)
Opening Reception and Awards Presentation
Friday, September 8 from 7 PM
Art show open to the public
Saturday, September 9 from 10 AM to 6:30 PM
Sunday, September 10 from noon to 5 PM
Art work to be picked up
(may not be picked up before show closes to public)
Sunday, September 11 from 5 PM to 7 PM
LIABILITY
Neither the Hampshire County Arts Council, the Hampshire County
Chamber of Commerce (organizer of Hampshire Heritage Days) nor the
Bank of Romney will be held liable for loss or damage to the work
or property of entrants.

St. (Opposite Sheetz, 1 block east of stoplight at Rt. 50/Rt. 28)
Look for signs as you enter town.
From Washington/Winchester: Take Rt. 50 West to Romney (114
Miles from DC, 40 miles from Winchester).
From Cumberland, MD: Take Rt. 28 South to Romney (30 miles).
From Elkins/Petersburg/Moorefield: Take Rt. 220 North to
Rt. 50, turn east to Romney.
27th Annual Hampshire Heritage Days
Come enjoy a weekend in the country during our Heritage Days.
In addition to the 9th Annual Fall Fine Arts Show, bring family
and friends to experience the rest of the festivities, which
include scenic rail excursions on the Potomac Eagle Railroad

and re-enactments, historic displays, vintage car show, artisan
village (watch costumed crafters create one-of-a-kind treasures),

gospel, rock, and blues music as well as stories and songs of
the Civil War. Search for your special Heritage Days memory
among multitude of crafts displays and at the Art Show !
