Performers Studio 2005
I am pleased to welcome you to the 2005 season of Performers Studio
at the Romney Bottling Plant.
Our unique “combo” open mic in December was so popular
that we’ve decided to continue combining showcase concerts
with our normal open mic format. Each Performers Studio
will open with a one hour showcase immediately followed by our
ever popular open mic.
This year we’re on the THIRD FRIDAY of
each month (except this March), on the big stage at the Bottling
Plant. We kick off the season on
Friday, March 25th at 8:30 PM.
Check out this great showcase concert:
Wonderfully gifted Jazz pianist, Ed Morgret brings
us his newest band:
SoulTeen JazzTrio
Ed Morgret, a master musician, has played keyboards
in professional jazz ensembles for three decades. On drums, his
talented son Clarke Morgret has become an accomplished player
in his own right. Rounding out the group is Cameron Lee who traded
in his Rock & Roll credentials for Jazz’s cooler climate.
Don’t miss this act, they are really hot… in the coolest
terms.
Performers Studio is produced and sponsored by
LD Brown Arts in cooperation with
The Loy Cultural Foundation who owns and operates the Romney Bottling
Plant. This arts project and others like it, relies entirely on
your contributions and support. For more information call 304-822-7516.
Thank you.
