Anne-Reneé Livingston
Anne-Reneé grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. She found her creative side about the age of 10 where she did many paintings in oils and watercolors. She received her BFA from Clemson University where she was able to expand her knowledge of art. It was there that she became interested in ceramics and printmaking. After college she received her teaching certificate and taught K-12 for ten years. In 2006 she and her husband decided to move to Hampshire County after owning a vacation home in the county for several years.
About five years ago Anne-Renee had an opportunity to learn
the basics of stained glass. She had always been interested to
learn the technique. Since then she has created commissioned
pieces for places such as Buddy’s Elliot Street Bar and
Grill in Canton, MD and Villanova University in Villanova, PA.
Her work can be seen at www.designsfromtheheart-wv.com .
All work is original although Anne-Renee tends to like to design
things dealing with nature.
After moving to Hampshire County Anne-Renee opened an art studio, Glass House Studio, where she and other local artists taught classes. In February 2010, Glass House Studio converted its gallery space to a co-op featuring work by a variety of area artists. At the end of June 2010 Glass House Studio closed and Anne Reneé moved to Virginia Beach, VA.
