Lenore Long Lancaster

Lenore Lancaster works primarily in Prisma
colored pencil. Her favorite subjects are animals, people
and scenes from everyday life. She loves drawing and enjoys layering
and burnishing colors. Many of her pictures are made into limited
edition art reproduction Giclee prints on acid free paper and
with non-fading inks.
She is represented by Rocky Gap Revolving Gallery, Flintstone,
Maryland, Lambert Gallery, Bedford, Pennsylvania and South
Side Depot, Petersburg, West Virginia as well as on-line gallery

In addition to being a member of the Hampshire County Arts
Council, Lenore is a founding
member of the Allegany Area Art Alliance and a member of the
Colored Pencil Society of America, Bedford, Morgan and Garrett
County Arts Councils.

The fall months of 2006, she was the guest artist in Spruce
Forest Artisan Center located at Penn Alps, Grantsville, Maryland.
She has participated in numerous shows, including the Explore
This! National Show in Los Angeles in March 2007, the International
Colored Pencil Exhibition, Chicago; Collective Angles (five-person
show) at the Morgan County Arts Center and numerous local exhibitions.
In August of 2007 Lenore will be the curator of an invitational
show of Colored Pencil at the Ice House Gallery, Morgan County
Arts Center, Berkeley Springs, West Virginia
