Susan Feller

Susan Feller is a fiber artist, specifically manipulating woolen fibers using the traditional technique of rug hooking. Strips of hand dyed wool are pulled through a canvas with a hook to create a loop. These rugs are "art for the floor". Recently Feller has begun to include all the stitching and hand work techniques accumulated over the years of study into framed wall art collages with 3-D effects and many different fibers.

Her art is included in "Wild, Wonderful Fiber" a travelling exhibit of sixteen WV artists. As a juried member of MountainMade, her pieces are available at their Thomas, WV gallery space.
