Sibyl does full size pencil sketches of important figures before drawing them on the wall itself.

Here are preliminary sketches of the two flamingos.

 

Folds of the afghan surround the flamingo's feet. More of the knitter's umbrella has been painted.

 

Sibyl begins to apply color to the flamingo outlines.

The two flamingos have brightly colored plumage.

The flamingos are near the left hand corner of the mural.
